Playgroup Party

At the end of June we had our end of the year party for Mother/Toddler Playgroup. It was also the 10th Anniversary since the group was started. We rented out the St. Maur's GAA in town and had food, music, face painting, a bouncy obstacle course, and outside games. It was a good day out for the whole family. We have a large playgroup with a lot of children between the ages of birth to 4 years old. It has been such a great way for us to meet people and make friends. Our summer break ends in September and I'll be acting as the new secretary for the year. I am looking forward to our gatherings again. It sure helps the week go by faster and keeps the kids very entertained.

Isabella really wanted her face painted. She sat so nicely while the artist painted her whole entire face! The lips are a little weird, but she licked all that off after 2 minutes.

Friends, Rainbows, and Summer Fun

Giant's Causeway Northern Ireland

We took a weekend trip to Northern Ireland at the end of May. We first visited the Giant's Causeway which is a natural phenomenon. As you'll see in the pictures there are tons of rocks that look as though they shot out from the ground and they are all a hexagon shape. It was an amazing place. I was a little hesitant about taking the kids there, I thought they'd get so bored or hurt. But it turns out it's just a natural playground! The kids had so much fun climbing around and splashing in all the puddles (it had been raining that morning) Isabella even climbed to the top of one cluster with Eric. There's not a whole lot to say about the place, just that it was very cool to see...enjoy the pictures!
